sWIFT Large (v2)

Swift large is a well proven design with strong race winning record. It has been optimesed to offer early lift performance for light wind conditions, but without significant compromise in heavier winds when you need to go fast.

We achieved this through high aspect/short cord planform, featuring a new custom foil section that is thinner resulting in a foil that has very low overall drag despite its size.

One of the more notable features are the bent down tips which reduce the effective foil span, and therefore the main vertical drag associated with high aspect foils (due to necessity to fly lower when leaning to windward). The flap is also fixed which helps reduce tip vortex and further lowers the overall drag.

To ensure product quality and repeatability, our Swift mainfoils are manufactured in Australia, using closed mould infusion technology. The quality aluminium tooling ensures excellent shape accuracy while solid carbon construction makes them arguably the stiffest and strongest foils on the market.

All foils are supplied in either 2K grey epoxy primer or clear carbon finish, and are designed to fit Swift, Bieker, Exocet v.1, Mach 2.0, 2.3 and 2.4 verticals.
